IWD Panel - Building Stronger Networks: The Role of Peer Support for Women in Technical Broadcast Careers
A central pillar of RISE has always been peer support. Seeing each other, creating inclusive networks that support, champion and challenge. This isn’t just about cheering, RISE is about changing mindsets, encouraging women to be more visible and take risks. So, how do we as a community support our growing network, particularly for regional members and those not near city hubs? What does peer support look like within larger organisations, as well as our community network?
Our panel will explore how peer support can empower women in the industry, bridge gaps in technical skills, emotional resilience, career advancement, and work-life balance.
