Rise aims to open up more opportunities for female broadcast professionals through holding quarterly networking events, seminars, and an annual mentoring programme, as well as celebrating the skills and achievements with the Rise Awards. The women that will benefit from joining the group will be in non-craft roles in any type of broadcast manufacturer, service provider or end-user.
Rise Mentoring Programme 2019
Following on from the success of the first ever Rise Mentoring Programme in 2018, we are delighted to announce that the scheme is currently running with 23 talented women.
Rise Awards 2019
The Rise Awards, in association with Avid, are a celebration of the outstanding talent, skills, expertise and achievements of exceptional women across the broadcast technology and services sectors. There are seven categories that are open for nominations until Monday 15 July, with winners being announced at a reception at NAB on Saturday 14 September.
Creating spaces for Rise members to meet, network and find out more about industry developments is a central part of our work. This includes a varied programme of events, including Rise talks, mentoring scheme meetings, awards and trade shows.
