Announcing the launch of our 2021 mentoring programme for applications – and who our 2021/22 sponsors are.
This year sees the expansion and growth of Rise’s education arm, Rise Up, as well as our fourth annual mentoring scheme in the UK, our second in Singapore and the introduction of our first mentoring programme in North America.
Rise mentoring is a free, six month programme to support women working in, or aspiring to work in the broadcast media technology sector. Past mentees have come from a variety of job roles, including engineering, technical operations, sales, marketing and business development. Applications are welcome from women who are working full time, part time or freelance and of any age group above the age of 18. Applications for all schemes open today and close on Friday 9 April 2021.
The 2021 mentoring programme sees a variety of experienced broadcast sector industry representatives, at a diversity of levels of seniority, ready to offer their expertise, knowledge and guidance to our mentees. Our mentees benefit from a range of support, including 1-2-1 mentoring contact with their pairing, monthly group meetings, facilitated peer-to-peer support and access to networking and workshops.
We are delighted to announce the 2021 mentoring programme and look forward to receiving the international mentee applications. We know that the support provided through the programme is needed now more than ever during these times.
