If you are wanting to find out more about potential careers, how the media industry is structured, potential salaries and much more, there’s plenty of free information and guidance to be found online, including:

If you have recently left school and want to break into the media industry, there’s plenty of job vacancies and new entrant schemes out there for enthusiastic individuals to get their foot in the door and learn on-the-job. About the Global Academy and other media focused University Technical Colleges
The Rise Up Academy, works with a network of University Technical Colleges (UTCs), who offer a unique educational experience for years 10-13 students and help them to kickstart their media careers. Students benefit from a mix of hands-on, practical experiences and academic learning.
