Kathy Richardson is a solutions oriented professional who enjoys technology at all levels. Comfortable working at a high view, keeping company goals and budgetary concerns in mind, all the way down to the gritty technical details. I have been working in software and infrastructure for 17 years and still enjoy the toys we get to play with every day. Every problem is a puzzle to solve and the solution that gets you to the desired goal in the simplest, fastest, most cost effective way wins. I am a fierce client advocate, care deeply about developers/engineers’ career development and well being, and have hard-won opinions about designing scalable, stable and observable architecture. In technology today, there is no reason you can't make something happen. It may not be cost effective, fit in the time frame or make sense for the company, but there is no such thing as "can't be done." It can always be done... you just have to evaluate the consequences before you decide to do it.
