Rise is changing – could you be part of its future?

Rise has grown significantly over the last few years, with the establishment of the Rise Up Academy, our award winning worldwide mentoring programme, the Rise Awards and more recently the Strive to Rise programme.

The support of our industry has been fundamental for these successful programmes and their impact is really starting to drive the change in gender diversity that we all desire so much.

However, with this success comes additional challenges, as the scale of what we deliver only increases – and this is bringing exciting new changes. This includes the news that the Rise Up Academy is going to become a separate charity, independent of Rise.

As a result of this change, Carrie Wootten will be leaving her role as Managing Director of Rise, becoming the new CEO of the Rise Up Academy from April 2023. Rise is therefore now looking for a new MD, who ideally will be in place by the beginning of March. This is a fantastic opportunity for an inspirational and dynamic individual to drive Rise’s future work and continue to grow this pioneering organisation.
