Media Account Manager

We are looking for an Account Manager to be an outstanding leader, charged with inspiring, and empowering the production, product management and technical teams at Take 1. Reporting directly to our COO, you will be the vital, hands-on, point of contact between our company and our clients to communicate client needs, champion the client throughout the business, help solve problems and achieve business goals. You will help establish and measure against the core metrics for success of the customer journey.

Key tasks

·        serve as the lead point of contact for nominated clients while building and nurturing trusted, long-lasting relationships responding to requests, upselling new products and following up to check they had a positive experience

·        collaborate with our sales, product development and production teams to ensure the client is served appropriately

·        ensure a smooth client handover from the pre-sales team to account management

·        proactively manage client deliverables, ensuring the client has received deliverables on time against a given volume. This will involve proactively chasing the client for media files and ensuring the Take 1 team has ingested the media and processed the order on time.

·        be the point of escalation for the Take 1 Production teams regarding client issues,

·        work closely with Sales, Product, Production and Technical teams to ensure that products and services meet the evolving needs of current and future clients

·        maintain a high degree of discretion, prioritisation, and project management skills, as well as the ability to influence and reach amicable and successful solutions with internal and external stakeholders

·        negotiate deals with a view to growing volumes and optimising margins with existing customers (with support from Sales)

·        mentor the client facing production teams to deliver a world class client experience when dealing with Take 1

·        be responsible for maintaining, managing and reporting customer work volumes and revenue data and effectively communicate this to the other members of the Take 1 leadership team.

·        deliver an excellent level of customer service, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of the client’s requirements

·        oversee and ensure accurate billing in accordance with the client’s order and billing requirements

·        gain a deep understanding of the client’s needs and what they expect from our company

·        use your outstanding communication skills to present to and influence key stakeholders in our company and with clients

·        as Take 1 continues to grow, develop your team of Account Managers

Skills Required

·        an client services professional with solid experience  in a customer facing/account management role, with excellent customer service skills and  experience growing relationships and upselling additional services.

·        excellent customer service with a proactive customer centric approach – always putting the customer first.

·        confident communicator. Ability to listen to and understand customer needs, and respond to these appropriately to communicate value propositions

·        experienced at relationship building. Ability to instigate and maintain strong, productive relationships with a network of connections

·        commercially aware with experience growing existing business

·        a wide network of contacts in the media industry

·        highly organised with attention to detail

·        experience in the TV & Media industry either in Production or Postproduction

·        confident with processing large amounts of numerical data
