Singular.live is a revolutionary live graphics platform.
Singular is a young company on a mission to transform the world’s live content. We are a small, friendly team of 15 passionate professionals working remotely across the world (the US, UK, Germany, and Thailand) working to democratize live graphics, making them sustainable, accessible, and scalable for everyone.
Our team has a track record of innovation and expertise in live production and specifically graphics, including 12 Emmy awards. We have industry accreditation for our sustainability as the only live graphics platform accredited by the BAFTA-affiliated Albert org. Accessibility is also really important to us – making sure that everyone has access to our platform regardless of their background, resources, or experience. Our Singular For Good (SFG) program provides free Pro-grade accounts to educational institutions and nonprofits around the world. We are currently early in the process of applying for our B Corp certification to cement our commitment to making a positive social and environmental impact on the world.
We are self-funded and growing organically. Founded in 2016 we launched (properly) in January 2019 and now have over 16,000 sign-ups and averaging over 1,000 active monthly accounts. Although we are a small team, we are working with some very large organizations that range from the NFL, Sky, MLB, Blizzard Activision, BT Sport, and many more. We are growing organically but have big ambitions to accelerate over the next 12-18 months.
Singular (as a platform) is predominantly a B2B offering currently focused on broadcast however we are expanding this into new territories. In addition, we are targeting new potential partners from outside broadcast that we can work with to bring Singular to new markets (such as digital signage, digital advertising, education, and more).
We are looking for the right person to join our marketing team to accelerate our growth, build our brand, and further our impact. This is an opportunity to get on board with a platform that is transforming the live graphics industry and working on some innovative projects with a wide range of clients from top-tier broadcasters to schools, charities, and individuals. You can help shape the future of both the company and the way in which people watch and use live content, developing your role within our organization as it evolves. As a small team working remotely (and internationally) there is a lot of scope for you to make your mark and bring new ideas. We encourage that!
You will be involved in all aspects of marketing however key areas of responsibility will include:
- You will participate in the ongoing planning of our marketing strategy and its implementation
- First point of contact for our Singular For Good (SFG) accounts
- Work with our external agency on paid advertising (Google Adwords, LinkedIn) and social media
- Blog and case study writing
- Social Media posting and strategy (in conjunction with an external agency)
- Working with our external PR agency to help provide content
Salary £20,000 to £25,000 (depending on experience) or USD $ equivalent
Job is remote only (no office)
English language is required, any other languages are a bonus
Marketing Software we currently use: Hubspot, Sprout Social, Lead Forensics, Google (docs, sheets, slides, AdWords, analytics)
Some previous experience would be welcome but not essential – ideally in either web, digital, production, or broadcast areas. Passion about our mission is more important than experience. We don’t have teams of people so we need someone who can do the work rather than lead teams who do the work. You will be a motivated, enthusiastic self-starter. Able to see the opportunities and to take them on. We will support you all the way but we want you to seize the opportunity to help build this brand and community.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and innovative. Independent working is required but we also need someone who can contribute to the team. You don’t need a background in live graphics or design, although some knowledge in or of this area would be beneficial, but definitely not essential – as long as you are open to learning.
We do not have any offices so you can work from anywhere as long as you have internet! We hope in the future to have more regular in-person meetings but regular attendance in an office is not expected.
