Multi award winning managed hosted solutions provider base is seeking a technically
capable Business Development Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to advance their career in the high-
growth cloud and Software-as-a-Service market. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our fast-growing company in a hands-on technical sales role. You will be responsible for driving sales and business growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, acting as a trusted advisor to companies with a consultative sales approach.


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and
    other lead generation activities.
  • Handle inbound leads from partners, referrals and marketing activities – from initial sales
    qualification through to contract close.
  • Qualify new business opportunities by conducting thorough requirements analysis and
    technical demonstrations of the base hosted solutions platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including partner management, customer
    success, marketing, professional services, engineering and product development, to
    develop and execute sales strategies that deliver against the company’s revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential
    customers, SaaS product partners, and key decision makers from end users to senior
    management representatives.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and market developments to identify new business
    opportunities and inform product development initiatives.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demonstrations to potential
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and closure.

Skills and Attributes:

  • 5+ years of experience in the media industry, with a technical mindset, demonstrable
    business development and sales skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep knowledge of the media industry and current technology trends, including cloud
    and SaaS.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new
    business opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic
  • An outgoing people person with a confident and friendly presentation capability.
