Vubiquity is looking for a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join their small, energetic marketing team to deliver global marketing activities and support pipeline growth.
What will your job look like?
• Events Co-ordination
‐ Responsible for managing trade show participation and event sponsorships to ensure seamless execution of events, including booking exhibition space, associated equipment requirements, panel slots, guest lists, hospitality, and all other associated logistics and purchases.
‐ Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors, including onboarding of new vendors.
‐ Manage internal communications and weekly update calls with participating attendees and speakers.
‐ Track costs against budget and provide weekly cost update to Head of Marketing.
‐ Oversee all digital marketing requirements to support and promote the event including customer communications, marketing materials, social media campaigns.
‐ Track and analyze event/sponsorship performance/metrics.
• Social Media/Digital
‐ Work with Head of Marketing and Content Agency to develop content strategy for social media/digital outlets.
‐ Create social media content and write post text, optimizing content for search engines.
‐ Execute and manage social media campaigns (including paid campaigns) to build followers, enhance visibility and drive engagement.
‐ Manage social media calendar and publish content to company channels.
‐ Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop content ideas.
‐ Provide ongoing analysis and performance reporting.
• Website
‐ In conjunction with external web agency, maintain the website, ensuring content is updated regularly with product/service updates, images, videos, news as required.
• Brand/Content
‐ Support Head of Marketing to manage relationships with industry organizations, analyst firms and agencies in order to maximize membership value, elevate Company brand and grow credibility.
‐ Work with our Content agency and internal stakeholders to support overall content and social strategy, industry award submissions and digital marketing activities.
‐ Suggest ideas/topics for thought-leadership articles/blogs, and support agency with gathering information/data from the business, and co-ordinating access to internal experts/product leaders.
‐ Proof read/edit content and source images for publication.
‐ Manage all Purchasing requirements (PO’s, subscription renewals/payments, invoicing).
‐ Owner of Marketing Purchasing Card, managing monthly expenditure and liaising with Corporate Finance Team on merchant charges/credit limits etc.
‐ Conceive and manage purchasing of all branded items.
‐ Provide general marketing support as required to Sales and Product teams.
‐ Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, including keeping track of our main competitors.
All you need is...
‐ Minimum 5 years’ Marketing and social media experience working within the Media Industry
‐ Experience in organizing and managing industry event participation and event sponsorships
‐ Experience of digital content and social media, including scheduling programs such as Sprout Social
‐ Copywriting skills
‐ Experience with Photoshop, Canva, Sprout Social and WordPress
‐ Branding experience with a good eye for design
‐ Budget management experience and good numerical skills
‐ Experience of working in a fast-moving environment, with an ability to handle numerous projects with competing deadlines and priorities
‐ Strong written and verbal communication skills
‐ Excellent attention to detail
‐ Highly organized, with good time management skills
‐ Self-motivated and adaptable with a willingness to learn
‐ Experience of working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
‐ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
‐ Computer literate with excellent Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
