Broadcast Engineer

BFBS

Chalfont St Peter - Full Time

We have a fantastic opportunity at the heart of our Technology Department to join us as a Broadcast Engineer.

BFBS are responsible for providing broadcast and entertainment services to the British Armed Services serving in the UK and across the world, (we serve those who serve) and so everything we do is with real purpose.

If you’re keen to join our small and busy team of Broadcast Engineers based at our headquarters in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire, and feel that you have most of the desired skills and experience, (we’ll show you the rest!), please do contact us.

You’ll be a crucial team member in supporting our linear and non-linear TV and radio production facilities, a lively news team and a variety of radio services and studios.

This is not a role for those who prefer specialising in one part of a broadcast system as BFBS Technology are responsible for broadcast services across the entire broadcast chain, from the microphone and camera through to the audiences’ devices. We don’t expect you to be skilled on the entire systems as we’ll train and support you, but we’d like you to have an interest in all of them!

This is a hybrid role where you’ll be in the office approximately 2 days per week, (or as required) and working remotely for the remainder. So, if you want to leave the mundane behind and embrace the excitement of working for a dynamic and global broadcaster, please do apply today.

Why work for us?

BFBS is an exciting and rewarding place to work. We are committed to looking after our people, helping them to develop their skills and build successful careers.

All applicants must be able to demonstrate current eligibility to work in the UK.
