We are looking for:   
         
Advanced Systems Group LLC. is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer to join our high-performing team. Working closely with the Chief Engineer, this position is responsible for daily maintenance and upkeep of the media related technology at our clients Media Production Facilities. The Engineer works with the Chief Engineer to ensure the media production facilities operate efficiently and effectively to produce results of the highest quality. The Engineer is responsible for researching and advising the Chief Engineer on equipment, software, processes, and industry engineering standards to support and enhance our clients facilities and products. The Engineer provides support and training for the technical staff and other departments. The Engineer also serves as the Engineer-In-Charge for some of our client's Events.           
        
This role is required to work on-site at our client's office in New York City.        
         
Job Responsibilities: 

• Maintain the media related technology media center 
• Assisted in the installation and modification of all media production equipment. 
• Assist in the maintenance of all media-related technology. 
• Assisted in the maintenance of documentation of various systems. 
• Identify sources of legacy equipment and parts. 
• Participates in other projects as needed.  
• Work on-site from our client's office in New York City

 

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5 years of experience in a broadcast or high-level corporate video department 
• Broad working knowledge of:
     ○ Analog: Sony U-matic, 1”-Type C, 8mm, etc.
     ○ Digital: Sony D-2, DigiBetaSP, HDCAM-SR, ProRes, H.264, H.265.
     ○ Streaming technology: WireCast, YouTube.   

• Experience in all roles of technical television production (audio, video, camera, playback, etc.) 
     For Example: Utah Sci. 400 Series Router, G&D KVM Matrix, Sony XVS-G1 video switcher, Sony HSC-100R cameras on Telemetrics PTZ heads. Yamaha QL-1 audio mixer, Shure ULX wireless mics, OnTheAirVideo for playback, CineDeck and HyperDeck for recording, AJA, BMD, GVG for video/audio distribution and conversion. Sony, BMD, Samsung for monitoring and display.

• Experience supporting
     Non-linear Editing systems: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve
     Networked Attached Storage Arrays: Avid Nexis Pro 40, Isilon H500.

• Experience supporting 4K projection and high-end cinema audio systems: Christie CP4415-RGB, Dolby CP-750, QSC Amps, EAW speakers, Panasonic RZ660 Projectors.
• Experience supporting theatrical lighting systems: ETC ION, ETC Source Four Lustr LED, plus other ETC fixtures. 
• Experienced in designing and implementing video walls using NovaStar LED processors.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work both independently and collaboratively 
• Excellent communication; verbal, written 
• Highly organized, resourceful, creative, and attentive to detail 
• Exceptional computer skills, specifically MS Office, Salesforce, SharePoint 
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university  

 

Compensation & Benefits:  
       
This temporary full-time role offers a pay rate of $55-75/hr depending on experience.
